State-funded schools and colleges in England are eligible to apply for a grant of £1200 for Senior Mental Health Lead training.
Senior mental health lead training equips school and college leaders with evidence-based strategies to promote and support the mental health and resilience of their pupils,
learners and staff.
89% of education staff completing the training would recommend it and say they feel equipped to embed an effective approach to promote and support pupil and staff wellbeing.
The deadline for claims is 31st December 2024, for courses that start before the end of Spring term 2025.
