Changing Lives is expanding once again, welcoming two more Centres of Excellence in Derby City and Erewash, further increasing the mental health support they can offer the children and young people of Derbyshire.
This year saw a number of Compass Changing Lives’ staff graduate from their courses at Derby University to become fully qualified Supervising Practitioners, Educational Mental Health Practitioners, and HI-CBT practitioners.
Team Leaders from Compass Changing Lives supported a recent event for Mental Health Leads at schools in Derby City.
Changing Lives visited the Sikh community in Derby at a Gurdwara to talk to talk to young people about how to break down barriers to accessing mental health support.
Anti Bullying Week this year had the theme “Choose Respect”. Changing Lives explored this with children and young people around Derby and Derbyshire.
10th October marked World Mental Health Day, and Changing Lives celebrated in a number of ways across Derby and Derbyshire.
